If a generated sentence can't be traced to source material, it isn't an answer. It's a hypothesis. Enterprise users need answers.
The architecture
Span-level retrieval, structured citation in the output schema, and a reviewer surface that lets humans accept or reject at the citation level rather than the answer level.
